Our friend Juan Morello is responsible for Caritas Spain for the Middle Orient zone. Our obketive is to bring 400 kilos of scholarship material to help children in Teheran schools. We will work with Juan to precisely define the needs and organize the material distribution. His experience and awareness of the local reality are the guarantee of an efficient action.

A few words about Caritas.

Caritas offers a very broad and diversified social action. Caritas develops activities related to assistance, rehabilitation, social integration for victims of poverty and exclusion, but it also publicizes and condemns the roots of those unfairness that lead to these situations.

According to the economical resources they manage as much as the number of volunteers involved in these activities, Caritas is today considered as one of the major solidarity organizations and ensures a very broad and international presence.

As we explained in previous articles, our solidarity action will target Iran because an important part of the population currently suffers from poverty. Among these people, toddlers are the more affected. Caritas, which has its own scholastic support groups in Teheran, will give us access to the children. This way, we will be able to bring our contribution to improve a little bit their situation.
